Russia is building an electronic registry of LGBTQ+ citizens
…the Orwellian plan has been in discussion since last year after Russia’s Supreme Court outlawed the so-called “international LGBT movement” as an “extremist organization” at the urging of President Vladimir Putin.
In the US, state department employees are already being ordered to remove pronouns from their email signatures by the end of the day.
At this rate I don’t think we’re too far off from what Russia is doing here.
