Average millennial living life on the edge (of the Midwest). Probably too immature for Micro.blog but I like it here.
What makes a blog personal?
What are the rules? Do you have to choose between a travel log or daily journal entries? Or should you focus more on essays explaining your personal philosophies on life and the universe?
I definitely feel impostor syndrome at times. Mostly because I don’t talk a whole lot about my life; like how can this be a personal blog if I don’t talk about what I’m doing every day? I don’t have any cool projects or hobbies to write about… this kind of is my hobby.
I have to remind myself (pretty often) that there are no rules to running a blog. You can talk about whatever you want, whether it’s a daily journal or you’re posting monthly reviews on disposable razors.
What do you want to talk about?
That’s what makes it personal. Literally just be yourself and share opinions or ideas on something. Write about something important to you; share things you like.
