I know AI in coding is a touchy subject, but I’ve been learning a lot using Claude to help do things I otherwise had no idea how to do. I still have to know what I’m trying to realistically accomplish and what code I need to change, and how to shoehorn it into the rest of the code it without breaking everything.

I was struggling on how to implement a mircohook on the Tiny Theme to get a little Font Awesome icon on each different post category on the post list and single post. Walked me right through it after a few failed attempts and I understand a lot better how partials and microhooks work now.

There’s no way in hell I could ever be a professional programmer with AI alone, like I don’t think it’s replacing real devs any time in the foreseeable future, but man is it convenient. Huge help for someone like me who just wants to do cool stuff on my blog without going to school for web design. Learning a lot though honestly!
